'2-Page Opinion' Missing Link to Q Mystery

New Delhi (India):
The truth about the government's complicity in the Quattrocchi matter appears to be locked in a mysterious 'two-page unsigned opinion' of additional solicitor general B Datta.
The CBI, which is in possession of these two pages, was not sure what to do with this unsigned document and, therefore, preferred not to disclose its contents before the Supreme Court on Monday.
The agency has claimed that it received these two pages as an attachment to an e-mail (dated December 23, 2005) from UK's senior crown prosecutor Shane Nainappan. But mystery surrounds these unsigned pages as Nainappan, in his communication to the CBI on January 18, clearly denied having sent any such attachment through his e-mail. The CBI sleuths now wonder as to how these pages, purportedly carrying Dutta's opinion, were received. What has deepened the mystery further are the contents of the 'unsigned pages' which are quite different from what the CPS informed them about Datta's version in London.
