Ocean Shores, Washington (US):
The wreck of a ship that carried Northwest loggers and miners and housed visitors to the 1962 Seattle World's Fair is emerging from a sand dune on the Washington state Coast.
The once-buried hulk of the S-S Catala was first exposed by erosion four years ago and further uncovered by a February storm as high winds and seas rearranged beaches at Damon Point State Park.
Ranger Jim Schmidt calls the changes dramatic. Visitors can now walk along a section of the rusting hull.
