Search for Missing ‘Buddha Boy’ Continues

Buddhist monks and a Hindu priest prayed in a jungle in southern Nepal for the safe return of a missing teenager who many believe is the reincarnation of Buddha, an official said today.

According to reports, authorities have continued search for a third day today to locate Ram Bahadur Banjan, 16, who disappeared early on Saturday from a forest where he had been meditating for the last 10 months without food and water.
Harihar Dahal, a government official in Bara, said the day-and-night search in the jungle had yielded a few clues on the whereabouts of the missing teenager. The religious prayers were to last three days.
