A wealthy businessman who made his money from dealing in second-hand cars and two of his associates were in custody in Britain Thursday in connection with last week's record-breaking cash depot robbery of 53 million pounds (92 million dollars).
John Fowler, 60, a flamboyant character with a history of shady business dealings, has been charged with conspiracy to rob and with the abduction of the depot manager, his wife and young son during the raid on February 22.
