Warri (Nigeria):
Nigerian rebels have released six foreign oil workers, keeping three from the United States and Britain as hostages. One U.S. citizen was among the group freed, which also included two Egyptians, two Thais and a Filipino, the BBC reported Thursday.
All were employed by a U.S. oil services company, Willbros, and were captured while laying pipeline for Shell on Feb. 18.
