Islamabad (Pakistan):
An Indian Aviation unit which is equipped with transport and attack helicopters has been placed under command of Pakistan Army Contingent in south Kivu Brigade in the UN mission in Congo.
ISPR spokesman contradicting Indian media reports that Indian aviation unit has been appointed for protection of Pak army contingents working as part of UN peacekeeping forces in Congo said, Brigadier Maqsood, commander of the Pakistani troops is the over all commander in that area where three Pakistan Army Infantry units, a Chinese Hospital and an Indian Aviation units which have transport and attack helicopter are deployed.
