Police have a mystery on their hands in the form of two cemetery headstones.
Bearing the names "John H." and "Pearl L.," the headstones were found Wednesday and Thursday at two separate locations in the city.
The first headstone was discovered at Riverbend Park on Airport Road; the second was found on North Orchard Street near the city's public works facility. John. H. was born in 1880 and died in 1965. Pearl L., meanwhile, was born in 1882 and died in 1964.
A check of local cemeteries yielded no answers.
