New Fairfield, Connecticut (US):
State and local police are still investigating the gunshot death of a 32-year-old New Fairfield man six days before Christmas.
David B. Schenzer, a business executive who worked for IBM, was found dead at his home on Satterlee Road on Dec. 18. A spokeswoman for the Chief State Medical Examiner's Office said Wednesday that death was caused by a gunshot wound to Schenzer's head. "The manner was suicide," the spokeswoman said.
Although Connecticut State Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Vance gave no details of the circumstances in which Schenzer was found, he confirmed the case is still being investigated by the Western District Major Crime Squad.
