New Delhi (India):
"Doosri Radha, senior IPS officer D K Panda, will now have to face the National Commission for Women. NCW has constituted a two-member committee to inquire into dowry harassment allegations against him levelled by his wife.
The committee will visit Allahabad on Friday. Earlier, Panda moved the Supreme Court challenging an Allahabad High Court order asking him to pay his wife Rs 7,000 a month as maintenance pending the proceedings for a judicial Separation.

Before issuing notice to his wife, Veena Panda, on Wednesday, a Bench comprising Justices B N Agrawal and A K Mathur made sure that it is the same Panda whom the public has seen on television dancing around in a sari and going to office with bangles and bindi and singing bhajans.
Why won’t he pay? Because his present take home salary is Rs 15,211 a month and that Veena’s "unmarried son", drawing a fat salary of Rs 60,000 per month from a leading software company, is giving her "enough money".
