Veena reportedly attacked Panda and tried to grab his nose-pin and earings in an attempt to stop him from going. She sat on the driver's seat and did not allow the truck to move.
She even lay on the way of the truck and asserted that the truck would have to go over her. But all her tantrums failed to change her husband's firm decision.
Panda, on the other hand reiterated patiently and justified his action stating that he had had enough of 'the third person' (his wife) between him and his 'Krishna'.
Panda took shelter in one Tanveer Johar's place - also a Krishna Bhakta and his friend for a past couple of years now. When contacted, Johar said that Panda contacted him and asked for help.
