"Doosri Radha", Denied Entry to His House

Former Uttar Pradesh IGP D K Panda, who proclaimed himself as "Doosri Radha", was denied entry to his house after returning from Puri on Saturday and had to beat a hasty retreat but not before he took away his private car.
Panda, who took voluntary retirement from service recently, went straight to his residence at Gomti Nagar after a week-long visit to Puri but his wife Bina did not open the door.
Alleging she apprehended threat to her life by her husband, she refused to allow Panda to enter the house, police sources said. Panda then broke open locks of the garage and left the place in his private car, the sources said adding his whereabouts were not known.
