Nude Woman Clip: Findings of Probe to be Revealed

The findings of a police investigation into the video clip of a nude woman doing ear squats will be revealed in the Dewan today. Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Noh Omar said he had received the report of the investigation yesterday morning.
“Since the DAP will move a motion tomorrow (today), I will answer questions then,” he said. Meanwhile, critics continue to come out against any possible abuse of power by the police. Gerakan Youth chief Datuk Mah Siew Keong called for strict action to be taken against police personnel who abused their authority.

He said the police should review the standard procedures inside the lock-ups. Mah said that even if stripping was a standard procedure, the police should ensure that there was no avenue for videotaping.
Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang called on the Cabinet to take bold and decisive action against Deputy Inspector-General Datuk Seri Musa Hassan for his “defiance” of the Prime Minister. Musa, he said, had provoked a national outrage when he announced that the police was hunting down the perpetrator of the video clip, and not the policewoman.
