Exotic Dancer Found Murdered

A gruesome murder mystery on the Upper East Side. Police are looking for the killer who slashed a woman inside her apartment last night.
Eyewitness News reporter Lisa Colagrossi reported that it was the boyfriend who called police to 355 E. 86th Street near York Avenue. There they found 21-year-old Catherine Woods in a pool of blood. Her throat had been slashed.
Twenty-three year-old David Haughn told police he left their apartment around 7:00 p.m. to check on his car and when he returned 20 minutes later she was dead. Haughn, who is being questioned by detectives, said Woods was working at Flashdancers strip club. When detectives went to the club with her picture no one said they recognized her. Management said she didn't work there. Woods was an aspiring Broadway dancer from Columbus, Ohio.
