Mystery Man Foretells Cop's Death
Joliet, Illinois (United States):
A man claiming to be a minister foretold a city police officer's death by witchcraft after stopping him in traffic Wednesday.
The officer was heading home from the police station when a Chevy Suburban stopped in front of his personal car on Reed Street near Glenwood Avenue shortly before 3 p.m.
The minister emerged from the Suburban, police said, and approached the cop in his car.
The minister, described as a 5-foot-8, 160-pound black man in his 40s with graying hair, reportedly told the cop, "I know you're an officer, and death is upon you," according to a police report.
The minister then identified himself to the officer as a minister, police said, who "has foreseen his death via witchcraft."
The minister then got back into his Suburban and departed.
