Toddler's phone call still mystery

Who called 911 the morning Steven and Michelle Andrews were found slain in the bedroom of their Gateway home?
Despite two days of revelations based on investigative records obtained by The News-Press, how the couple's toddler ended up on the phone to authorities is one of the central questions left unanswered.
More answers could come late next week when State Attorney spokeswoman Chere Avery said the government's case should be ready for the media to review. The couple, both 28, were found dead in the bedroom of their home at about 7 a.m. Dec. 27. Authorities have arrested Fred Cooper and charged him with the crimes.
The state turned over the case to Cooper's attorney, public defender Ken Garber, on Thursday in response to the publication of much of the information in The News-Press. The state contends Cooper murdered the couple in a jealous rage after learning Steven Andrews was having an affair with Cooper's estranged girlfriend, Kellie Ballew, who worked with Andrews in Bonita Springs.
