Where are the UNP Millions?

After raising billions to fight the last presidential election, UNPers are questioning as to why Ranil Wickremesinghe, the beleaguered UNP leader, has not released a full statement on the use or abuse of the monies collected to fight his election.
UNP coffers were filled with billions. The massive advertising campaign alone ran into a billion rupees, according to party sources. After the election party officials are crying poor. Money poured in from businessmen and diplomatic missions.
Norway, Scandinavian countries and India are reported to have handed over millions to Ranil Wickremesinghe. It is the normal practice for interested countries to finance their favored horse. But a substantial part of the funds seems to have disappeared after the elections.
