Now George Galloway has been accused of being too politically active while locked up in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The Speaker of the Commons yesterday promised to investigate how the Respect MP had apparently signed a series of early day motions - used by MPs to highlight issues - despite his absence from parliament.
Mr Galloway has backed motions on a wide range of issues, from one attacking "obscene" city bonuses to another urging action to stop budget airlines from increasing flight prices when football fans want to travel.
Mr Martin's comments followed a complaint from the Labour backbencher Chris Bryant, who pointed out that Mr Galloway was not able to communicate with anyone while he was in the Big Brother house.
