'Mother accused in deaths of Kids 'Depressed' Over Husband's Divorce Plans'

A newspaper reports an Arkansas woman accused of killing her three children was distraught because her husband wanted a divorce.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is quoting a neighbor of Paula Mendez as saying she "was depressed" and wept often.
Mendez will be arraigned today. She was arrested Saturday after authorities found the children's bodies at her home. Police were tipped off by the woman's husband, who works in New York.Her priest says Mendez moved from New York last summer to find a safer environment for the children, an eight-year-old and six-year-old twins.
