The family of Rachel and baby Lillian Entwistle have maintained a dignified public silence in the week since the mother and daughter were found murdered in their Hopkinton home. But a small omission from an official death notice may say a great deal. Missing from the list of beloved and bereaved relatives was any mention of Neil Entwistle.
The 27-year-old unemployed computer worker has not been named a “suspect” by investigators. Middlesex District Attorney Martha Coakley calls him only a “person of interest.” The funerals Wednesday will be celebrated by the Rev. William MacKenzie, the same priest who just before Christmas baptized Lillian Rose in a handmade white gown trimmed with lace. It was the same dress her mother wore years before in own her baptism.
