Boy Arrested for Extorting Mother

A sixteen-year-old boy from Petah Tikva was arrested on suspicion of extorting money from his mother.
According to allegations, he had accumulated around NIS 40,000.
The mother, who works as a fundraiser, complained to police that her son had instituted a "regime of threats" in her home.
She said that her son often extorted money from her using threats when she returned home from work.
