Lewiston, Idaho (US):
Investigators in Nez Perce County are hoping DNA testing will help them solve the identity of a man found shot dead in the Snake River 23 years ago. A fisherman found the man's body in 1982.
It was 25 miles south of Lewiston. The young man had been shot twice and had been in the water for about three weeks when he was found.
He was never identified and was buried in an unmarked grave in Lewiston. Now the sheriff's department is having the man's clothing tested for DNA at the Idaho State Lab at Boise.
