The Car Disappeared as if Fallen into the Bermuda Triangle

A motorist led police on a 30-mile chase on Interstate 84 late Monday, police said. Then the car and driver disappeared as if they'd fallen into the Bermuda Triangle.
The pursuit started at 10:45 p.m., when a Walden officer spotted a car going the wrong way in the Village Square, which is in front of the police station.
The car, a black Nissan, failed to stop at an officer's signal and took off south on Route 208 onto the interstate. A state police helicopter joined the hunt as the car hurtled west on I-84. State troopers lost sight of the car between the Greenville and Middletown exists, Capt. Michael Cahill said yesterday.
