Chopper Looking for Holy Man

A helicopter circled a remote Himachal Pradesh valley and dropped handbills, urging people to provide information on a missing Hindu holy man who might be in the region.
The chopper hovered over the Aut and Sainj trekking routes in the scenic Kullu valley Wednesday and appealed to the hill folk to contact a telephone number and address in the city of Chandigarh if they had seen Baba Gurumukh.
Villagers said they had not heard of the missing ascetic. When some of them contacted the given telephone number, an answering machine asked them to leave message, newspaper reports said Thursday.
