Bizarre Skin Disease Not Identified Yet
WAWS
_____
Duval County, Florida (US):
The CBS47 Troubleshooters first introduced you to a bizarre skin disease, back in February, that is spreading across the country and is right here in Jacksonville. After our initial investigation, the Duval County Health Department promised it would investigate, saying, “We've received actually several reports from people as well as reviewing the information that you've provided us and it does seem as if there is an appropriate investigation that should start at this point."
It was a promise that gave hundreds of people hope for a cure. But that hope is fading, thanks to a Duval County Health Department investigation that is a little thin. The mystery disease is a condition no doctor has been able to diagnose and no patient who has it can tolerate.
Donnie Matusiak recently contacted the Troubleshooters about our investigation of the mysterious skin disease. He's one of thousands of people from across the country, and hundreds from Florida & Georgia, that believe they have it.
Most claim they have these strange and irritating sores that ooze blue fibers and black specks of sand-like material. And all say they feel a constant and creepy sensation of something crawling under their skin.
