Gwinnett County, Ga (United States):
The mystery of the stolen a Cessna Citation ten passenger jet that landed sometime over the weekend at Briscoe Field is beginning to unfold according to Gwinnett County Police.
They are questioning witnesses who have come forward stating, “they have direct knowledge of how the aircraft arrived in Gwinnett County."
According to Gwinnett County Police Officer Darren Moloney, they have not arrested anyone.
Aviation experts say planes are easy to steal if you know how to fly them. But to fly a jet without a flight plan to Gwinnett County from Florida, you'd have to have a lot of experience.
“About the only thing I can do is really ease fears that we are following leads, but even at this point, there’s nothing to indicate anyone was trying to do any type of terrorist activity,” said Moloney.
Investigators say they’ve combed the aircraft for clues. It is owned by Pinnacle Air of Springdale, Ark. The plane was chartered to a St. Augustine, Fla. airport. The charter crew discovered it missing on Monday morning.

Investigators say they believe it landed at Briscoe Field while the airport was closed.
Police investigators say they have narrowed the window a little bit on when this plane landed at the airport. They now say it was sometime between midnight on Saturday night and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
Whoever piloted the plane did not file a flight plan with the FAA, according to Airport Division Director Matthew Smith.
