_______
Four young women have been unable to give police any clues in the hunt for other people involved in the killing of a Chinese student whose body was found floating in Auckland's Waitemata Harbour on Good Friday.
Biao Wan, 19, was killed in an Auckland hotel room before his body was put in a suitcase which was then dumped into the harbour early on Good Friday.
The suitcase and its grim contents were found early on Good Friday morning, several hours after Mr Wan's parents in China received a ransom demand for $NZ800,000
The four women were not connected with the killing and dumping of the suitcase but were caught on a security camera on the corner of Wellesley and Elliott streets at 3.25am on Good Friday.
Police believed there was a chance they could have had vital clues which would lead them to the fourth man believed to have been involved in Mr Wan's kidnapping, murder and the disposal of his body.
