Wheaton, Maryland (US):
Montgomery County's Hazmat team is investigating exactly what's going on in Wheaton after some mysterious liquid was found in an apartment there.
Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer says five five-gallon containers -- some containing crystallized liquid -- were found in a building on Amherst Avenue by the landlord following the departure of a tenant.
Piringer says several townhouses in the area were evacuated and Amherst Avenue closed while investigative work continued.
Piringer says early indications suggest the containers have something to do with a drug operation, but police were still on the scene investigating late Saturday.
