Residents in New Albany said Thursday that they recently saw a big cat roaming around the area of New Albany RoadAccording to the residents, they discovered a deer carcass, which they said cemented their theory that an animal -- possibly a lion -- was near, NBC 4 reported.
However, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources does not agree. They said a car probably struck the deer.Reports of lion sightings began surfacing in May 2004, when there were several reports of a creature roaming in the New Albany and Gahanna areas.
