Unknown disease hits Kupwara Children

Gagal, Kashmir (India):
A mysterious disease has left over a hundred children ill in this remote hamlet of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
During the past few days the children between the age of 6 to 14 years of age had developed fever, headache, vomiting and fainted frequently. They are presently undergoing treatment at Sub District Hospital (SDH)s in the district.
The disease is yet to be diagnosed however looking at the prime facie, the doctors attending the patients said it could be a “viral fever”.
