Four men and one woman were being questioned by gardaí today in connection with the indiscriminate shooting of a young mother of one at a birthday party in north Dublin.

Donna Cleary, 22, died in the early hours of Sunday morning after she was shot by a lone gunman who sprayed the front of a house in Adare Green, Coolock, with bullets.Detectives arrested the five at a house in Kildare shortly after 11pm last night.
They are being detained at Santry and Coolock garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be held for up three days.
