SMSes to DGP Puzzle Solved

Times of India
__________
Panchkula, Haryana (India) :
With the arrest of Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Ludhiana, the district police have solved the mystery behind the abusive SMSes, which were being sent to Haryana DGP Kanwar Nirmal Singh.
The police have been trying to arrest the main suspect, Rakesh Kumar, who has been allegedly forwarding these SMSes to the DGP. Investigation revealed that Rakesh and Sandeep, both residents of Ludihana, were in love with the same girl. According to sources, the girl was a friend of Sandeep but Rakesh also wanted to get into a relationship with her. She was not interested and refused to get into any such relationship.
This became an issue of dispute between the two. Both had started sending abusive SMSes and making threatening calls to each other. According to sources, Rakesh had managed to acquire the DGP's mobile number and started forwarding some abusive SMSes to him.
As Rakesh was absconding, the police traced the original source of these messages and found that they were sent from Sandeep's mobile.
