Bid to Identify Skeleton Remains
BBC News, UK
___________
The remains of a skeleton discovered close to Aberdare in south Wales are probably those of a woman aged 50 or over, police have said.
The find was made by a member of the public at Llwydcoed on Friday. Early investigations revealed the bones were human and may have lain at the site for at least five years. However, officers said it was possible the remains had been in place for "much longer" than five years. A post-mortem exam is being carried out on Monday.
Police hope this and further examinations of the scene will help them uncover the person's identity.
