Rifle, Colorado (US):
An unidentified grave site discovered on private property off Anvil Points Road west of Rifle was determined on Wednesday to have no evidence of human remains or bones.
The Garfield County Sheriff's Department began digging up the grave, which had a mound of dirt and a cross made of white rocks. A couple stuffed animals, two pinwheels and a glass vase with plastic flowers initially led investigators to believe they would discover the remains of a child.
Search and Rescue cadaver dogs also hit positively on the site. But after two days of digging, the site turned up nothing.
