Christchurch (New Zealand):
Prosecutors say a man on trial for the murder of Christchurch sex worker Susan Sutherland, killed her after an argument and they have DNA results to prove the right man has been arrested.
Jule Burns pleaded not guilty to murdering Sutherland in April 2005.The crown allege Burns drove his car down Manchester Street and picked up Sutherland with the intention of buying sex from her. Just hours after she was filmed on security video the body of the 36-year-old sex worker was found in a vacant lot in the central city.
Burns defence says the case will provide more questions than answers. "You're not going to find out who killed Susan. But you are going to find out who didn't, and that is this man here... he didn't murder her," says Defence Councel Rupert Glover.
