Nicole Richie and fiancé Adam Goldstein's recent split was not mutual, according to reports.
The stunning 'Simple Life' star and club DJ Adam, who dated for a year before getting engaged in February, called time on their nine-month engagement saying it was a joint decision.
But, according to America's New York Post, sources have claimed Goldstein ended the relationship because of Richie's "moodiness" - attributed to maintaining her stick-thin figure - had put a strain on the couple.
Richie's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed that the couple had split, saying the break-up had been in the works for several days.
