An unknown Asian man who was murdered and then thrown into a pond is the subject in a new book which examines criminal mysteries.'Ten Most Wanted' reproduces a picture of the re-constructed head of the man with hair for the first time.
He was found in a pond off Back Lane, Charnock Richard in Lancashire but after finding two pieces of his skull missing police believe he had been bludgeoned to death elsewhere and then driven to the spot by his killer.
Forensic archaeologist Professor Sue Black examined the body and concluded the dead man was most likely of Asian origin because of his build and other characteristics.The author of the book, Peter Bleksley said:
"I have brought together for the fist time all the clues and evidence about the mystery man and I and the police hope this may stir someone's memory leading to the identification of the dead man."
