Man Killed In Most Strange Accidental Shooting

A 54-year old Sacramento is dead after a bizarre accidental shooting.Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies Deputies found the man with one visible gunshot wound to his upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further investigation by detectives revealed the single bullet that killed the man was fired at approximately noon from a nearby residence.
An 11-year-old girl had found ammunition and a rifle from a locked bedroom and had put the single bullet into the rifle.
She took it outside to hear the "loud bang". Unbeknownst to the girl, the single shot had traveled through the fence of the property into the wall of the victim's home through the bedroom striking the victim, killing him instantly.
The victim had been sick and was spending the day resting in bed. His wife had left for work at 9:00 a.m. and found him at 8:00 p.m. in bed with blood near his head and shoulders.
