Indian Muslim Scholar's Son Found Dead in US Hotel

The son of noted Muslim scholar and former MP Syed Shahabuddin, Nayyar Pervez, was found dead in mysterious conditions in a hotel room in the United States, where he was working as a professor in Columbia University.
Pervez, 44, one of the youngest professors of the prestigious University, was found dead in a hotel room in New York on Thursday evening, his family members said.
The only son of Shahabuddin, he had been in the US for some years. He is married and has two children.
