Child's Body 'Missing' from Graveyard

In Haryana's Hissar district, a dead body has been reported missing from a graveyard near a police station.
Photographer Anil Gupta buried his grandson in a graveyard next to the police station in the Civil Lines area of Hissar on 9 November.
But when he returned the next day, he discovered to his horror that the body was missing. Gupta immediately reported the matter to the police, but even they found only the child's bones and clothes.The police say this is the second case of a child's body disappearing from the graveyard. But locals allege that in the last few months, there have been more than 45 such cases and accuse the local administration of complicity.
The police however, blame the incidents on stray animals scavenging on dead bodies.But the area residents seem to be convinced that it's the handiwork of either tantriks or witch doctors, operating in the area, or of doctors involved in the trade of human organs.
