Beware: Man with Sweets is After Kids

A primary school has sent letters to parents warning them of a pervert cruising in a car and offering sweets to youngsters.
The mystery man in the black car has been spotted stopping and talking to young children as they walk to and from school – and has tried to entice them with sweets.Today, Jed Holmes, headteacher of Hampton Hargate Primary School, in Hargate Way, Peterborough, confirmed that he had alerted parents to the danger and had advised that children should not be allowed to walk to school on their own.
Mr Holmes, who runs Stranger Danger talks at the school to alert children to the dangers of talking to people they do not know, said in his letter to parents:
"Please make sure you know your children are safe."
In the letter he tells parents that the latest report suggested the man had been driving a black Vauxhall Calibra.
