Does Janet Jackson secretly have a daughter who was raised by her older sister? Her former brother-in-law, Young DeBarge, says so.
Jackson Jackson, 39, was married to James DeBarge for three months in 1984, when she was 18. The marriage was annulled the next year. But Young DeBarge told a New York radio show that his brother and Jackson had a daughter named Renee, now 18, who lives with Janet's oldest sister, Rebbie Jackson. Such a rumor has been circulating for years.

Janet is pretty good at keeping secrets. In 1991, she was secretly married to Rene Elizondo Jr., but that wasn't publicly known until he filed for divorce in 1999.
And, it took years for the news to surface that she was married to DeBarge. Janet is now with Jermaine Dupri. Others say the daughter rumors are pure urban legend, including an attorney for the Jackson family who said all of them denied it years ago.
Plus, the math doesn't add up. A child who is 18 in October 2005, would have been born in 1987, or late 1986 -- or, long after the couple's breakup. So far, Jackson's mum.
