Dr Death Spotted in Ibiza

Ciudad de Ibiza (Ibiza):
One of the Second World War’s most sadistic Nazi fiends has been spotted — on the holiday isle of Ibiza.
The stooping 6ft 3in German with a scar on his right cheek from ear to mouth was seen in a shop by a Jewish tourist.
When the holidaymaker spoke in Hebrew, the figure looked at him in disgust and launched a vile anti-Semitic rant.
The shocked victim took down the German’s car number plate and phoned Nazi hunters. They said the mystery man matched the description of 91-year-old Aribert Heim — known as Dr Death.
Heim was the SS medical officer at Mauthausen concentration camp, near Salzburg.
He operated on inmates, often carrying out amputations, without anaesthetic just to see how much pain they endured.
He injected others with lethal drugs or petrol, and used a stopwatch to time their deaths.
He removed the tattooed flesh of one prisoner to make seat coverings for the camp commandant’s private quarters.
Heim, who was also doctor at the Sachsenhausen and Buchenwald camps, watched while hundreds of Jews died in agony.
Today he is believed to be mingling in the sunshine with unwitting ex-pat pensioners from Britain and all over Europe.
As well as the Ibiza sighting, there have been reports he is on the Costa Brava.
Nazi hunter Dr Efraim Zuroff, director of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre’s Jerusalem branch, told The Sun: “I believe he’s still in Spain.”
Austrian-born Heim had been arrested by the US Army after the war, but was released. He ran a gynaecological clinic in the German town of Bad Nauheim, and had a daughter by a girlfriend before marrying.
He also had two sons but vanished in 1962 when he was tipped off that prosecutors planned to arrest him. He is thought to have hidden in Argentina, Egypt, Denmark and now Spain.
