More police have been added to the team investigating the disappearance of a South Brighton woman as fears for her wellbeing mount.
Mystery surrounds the disappearance of Christine Sandra Hindson, 45, who is listed as an environmentalist on the electoral roll.
She was reported missing on Thursday after she failed to contact her family for two days.
Police say Hindson's family is very distressed because it is "completely" out of character for her not to keep in touch.
None of Hindson's belongings appear to be missing from the Jervois Street house she shares with her partner.
Nor have investigators been able to establish what she was wearing when she went missing.
