Winchester school illness still a mystery
Winchester (UK):
An outbreak of sick children at Winchester Elementary School on Thursday and Friday will be under investigation for at least another week.
"The lab results will hopefully be back to us sometime this week, but sometimes it has taken two weeks to get back to us," said Marilyn Carter, health education program manager at the Douglas County Health Department, the agency investigating the incident.
On Thursday, a number of children and staff took ill, and by Friday morning, there were reports of about 50 more cases. This prompted many parents to pick up their children from school.
Symptoms reported were upset stomachs, vomiting and diarrhea.
