Ice from Sky: Police Say Not From Airplane Toilet

Oakland, California (US):
Experts can't explain the solid block of ice that came crashing to the earth, creating a 3-foot hole at an Oakland, Calif., park.
The ice fell at Bushrod Park early Saturday. No one was injured but there were witnesses who say they saw a flash like a streak and an explosion.
Police say the impact knocked turf 20 feet away. Police say the ice was pure water and not an "ice fall" from a toilet on an airplane. When firefighters pulled out the ice from the hole, it was reportedly the size of the hole at 3-by-3 feet and 2 feet deep.
