TV host Naomi Robson was unwittingly involved in a romantic relationship with a con man and drug dealer who became one of Australia's most wanted.
The criminal is on the run after breaking a promise to give evidence against millionaire drug baron Tony Mokbel, himself now an international fugitive after fleeing his trial last week.
The current affairs presenter spoke yesterday about her links to the man, who racked up hundreds of convictions before turning informer on the missing drug kingpin and exposing police corruption.

Robson, host of Seven's Today Tonight in Sydney, casually dated the criminal for several months in late 2000 while he was dealing drugs with Mokbel and corrupt police.She maintains she was unaware of his criminal connections until after they parted.
A Victorian Supreme Court jury yesterday convicted Mokbel, 40, of importing cocaine in a case that relied heavily on conversations the informer secretly recorded between himself and Mokbel.
