Power lifter Reza Azizi representing western province of Kermanshah in the third 'Iran's Most Powerful Men' tournament died, provincial Physical Education Department announced, according to an MNA report.
The beefy sportsmans sudden death is more shocking as the Weightlifting Federation and newly run Bodybuilding Federation do not claim the responsibility of popular tournament.
Asked about rumors on Azizi?s using performance-enhancing substances, Kermanshah department said it will not confirm the news until the forensic study sheds light on his mysterious collapse.
