Alleged thug Cut in Half Alive
Sebokeng, Gauteng (South Africa):
The community of Sebokeng is still reeling in the aftershock of the mysterious and brutal killing of a twenty-three-year-old, alleged thug who was cut in half with a grinder.
The body of the 23-year-old Elias Masudubele was found in a fountain in Sebokeng Zone 15. Masudubele was literally cut in two while he was still alive. His hands were tied behind his back and he also had various burn and scuff marks. The dead man had allegedly been on the police's wanted list for some time. He was reportedly sought in connection with a spate of robberies and rapes.
According to a spokesperson of the police in the VaalRand area, Captain Veli Mcera, at about 4:30, a passer-by discovered the top half of the body in the fountain, while the other half of the body, covered in multiple injuries, was on dry land near the fountain.
Police's swift action when apprehending the suspects has already netted two suspects with regards to his death. The two appeared in the Vereeniging Magistrates Court on Monday. Police confirmed that a grinder was used in the killing. Captain Mcera said the police are doing everything in their power to establish the circumstances surrounding the murder.
